An established and fast-growing ground investigation consultancy is expanding its technical team and is seeking an experienced Engineering Geologist or Geotechnical / Geo-environmental Engineer. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of site investigation projects while developing your career within a supportive, specialist environment.

You'll be involved in both fieldwork and office-based tasks, contributing to multidisciplinary projects and helping guide junior colleagues as the team continues to grow. The company places a strong emphasis on training, professional development, and long-term progression.

About the role Engineering Geologist role:The position will suit someone with hands-on experience in ground investigation work, including:

    Borehole logging

    • \n
  • \n

    Soil, water, and gas sampling

    • \n
  • \n

    Groundwater and gas monitoring

    • \n
  • \n

    Desktop studies

    • \n
  • \n

    Preparation of factual and interpretative reports

    • \n

You'll also be expected to support and mentor junior staff on projects where appropriate.

Key requirements for the Engineering Geologist role:

    Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline

    • \n
  • \n

    Background in geotechnical or geo-environmental engineering

    • \n
  • \n

    Based in, or able to commute to, London

    • \n
  • \n

    Full UK right to work

    • \n
  • \n

    Full UK driving licence
