Credit Controller

Credit Controller Sheffield | Manufacturing Permanent Beyond Talent Solutions are delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Sheffield to recruit a Credit Controller on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller who enjoys building strong customer relationships, takes pride in maintaining healthy cash flow, and is looking to join a friendly, supportive finance team within a successful manufacturing business. The role will include: * Managing the sales ledger and customer accounts * Chasing outstanding invoices by telephone and email * Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers * Resolving invoice and payment queries * Allocating customer payments accurately * Reconciling customer accounts * Producing aged debtor reports and monitoring overdue balances * Escalating overdue accounts where appropriate * Liaising with internal departments to resolve account queries * Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc finance duties as required About you: * Previous experience in a Credit Control role * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Confident communicating with customers and internal stakeholders * Organised, proactive and able to manage your own workload * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but is not essential * Available to start at short notice would be beneficial What's on offer: * Permanent role * Friendly, down-to-earth working environment * Stable and growing manufacturing business * Supportive finance team This is a full time, permanent position based in Sheffield, working Monday to Friday
