CNC Miller (3, 4 & 5 Axis) - Bristol\n
£16.32 per hour (£31,800) + Overtime | Rotating Early/Late Shift
\nWe're recruiting on behalf of a leading aerospace manufacturer in Bristol for an experienced CNC Miller to join their growing machining team. Working with modern 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machining centres, you'll manufacture high-precision components in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
The Role\n- \n
- Set and operate 3, 4 & 5-axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain and Fanuc controls. \n
- Machine complex components from a range of aerospace-grade materials. \n
- Read engineering drawings, route cards and set tooling/offsets for production. \n
- Inspect components using micrometers, verniers and plug gauges, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances. \n
- Achieve planned production times while maintaining delivery and quality targets. \n
- Report quality concerns (NRFT), support continuous improvement and maintain excellent 5S standards. \n
- Attend daily SQDCP meetings and work closely with Manufacturing Team Leaders. \n
- Flexibility to work at the company's other Bristol site when required. \n

- Previous experience setting and operating 3, 4 or 5-axis CNC milling machines. \n
- Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls (Fanuc experience beneficial). \n
- Confident interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing precision components. \n
- Experienced using a range of inspection equipment and working to tight tolerances. \n
- Aerospace machining experience is advantageous but not essential. \n
- Eligible to obtain BPSS Security Clearance. \n
