\nHours: 11.5 hours
\nSalary: £7,186.90 - £7,565.01 per annum
\nHourly Rate: £13.87 - £14.60
\nContract Duration: Temporary until 13th August 2028.
\nInterviews will be held on Thursday 20th August 2026.
Role Purpose\nPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
\nTo undertake tasks, which may include helping with some or all of the following, depending on the needs of the individuals:
\n· Communication
\n· Written tasks
\n· Use of IT
\n· Motor difficulties
\n· Listening to instructions
\n· Following instructions
\n· Completing tasks
\n· Mobility
\n· Self care/personal hygiene
\n· Toileting
\n· Cleaning up children who have wet or soiled themselves
\n· Social skills
\n· Preparation of resources/materials
\n· Supervision during intervals/lunch times
\n· Feeding and medication (after training)
\nTo undertake support for individuals or groups as requested by the Head Teacher, Class Teacher and/or Learning Support Teacher.
\nTo assist in the implementation of plans, devised by the CT and or/LST or other agencies as required.
\nTo monitor on an informal basis the progress of pupils in learning and behaviour.
\nTo contribute to reports for pupils for discussion at review and planning meetings. To liaise with HT, CT and/or LST and other agencies as required.
\nThis profile is indicative of the nature and level of responsibility associated with the post. It is not exhaustive and the post holder may be required to undertake such other duties as may be required by the Head of Service to meet the needs and responsibility of the Service and the Council.
EssentialNo formal qualifications are required, but an acceptable standard of school education is desirable.
