Role Overview\n- \n
- We are seeking a senior leader to join Credit Operations as Global Head of Credit Financing Operations, reporting directly to the Global Head of ISG Fixed Income Credit Operations. \n
- This role will lead the global operational function supporting securities financing transactions, including repo, securities lending, and margin financing. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end post-trade lifecycle, drive transformation, and ensure a best-in-class control environment, while partnering closely with Front Office, Technology, and Infrastructure teams. \n
- A key priority for this role is to drive the strategic modernization of the Credit Financing platform, enabling scalability, automation, and operational efficiency across the business. \n
- \n
- Provide global leadership of the Credit Financing Operations function across EMEA, Americas, and Asia \n
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Credit Financing Operations, aligned to business growth and transformation priorities \n
- Act as a culture carrier and role model, embedding the Firm's core values and driving a high-performance environment \n
- Own financial and resource planning, ensuring efficient deployment against strategic objective \n
- \n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Trading, Sales, and key infrastructure partners \n
- Represent Operations in senior governance forums and drive alignment with business unit priorities \n
- Engage with external clients, counterparties, and market participants as required \n
- \n
- Oversee the operational lifecycle of repo, securities lending, and margin financing transactions \n
- Ensure robust management of collateral, margin, settlement, and lifecycle events \n
- Maintain high standards of operational excellence across trade support, settlements, and exception management \n
- \n
- Provide subject matter expertise to support legacy platform modernization and architecture design \n
- Lead process re-engineering initiatives, including: \n
- \n
- Process mapping and simplification \n
- Requirements definition and system design \n
- Testing and implementation of new platforms \n
\n - Drive automation, scalability, and efficiency improvements across the operating model \n
- Partner with Technology to shape the future-state operating architecture \n
- \n
- Establish and maintain a robust risk and control framework across all activities \n
- Proactively identify, escape, and remediate operational risks and issues with urgency \n
- Develop contingency plans to support business resilience \n
- Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and internal governance standards \n
- \n
- Significant experience in securities financing operations (repo, securities lending, margin financing) or similar domain \n
- Proven track record in leadership roles within Operations or Middle Office \n
- Strong technical understanding of financing products and post-trade architecture \n
- Experience leading large-scale transformation or platform modernization initiatives \n
- \n
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at senior levels \n
- Commercial mindset with the ability to assess impact on cost, risk, and efficiency \n
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution \n
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills \n
- High degree of ownership, accountability, and resilience \n
