About the Role\nThe Corporate Finance team focuses on clients’ strategic, operational, financial and capital needs. This Senior Director position on the Restructuring team in Manchester is responsible for leading financial restructuring advisory, due diligence, business reviews, cash and working‑capital management, valuation, contingency planning and insolvency.
What You’ll Do\n- \n
- Assist in structuring the engagement approach, scope and deliverables \n
- Manage the team to meet the scope within the required timeframe and budget \n
- Speak with external stakeholders and clients to keep them apprised of progress, initial observations and issues \n
- Coaching and supporting junior team members \n
- Form initial views and opinions on the engagement to discuss with the Lead Managing Director or Senior Managing Director \n
- Take responsibility for producing and delivering a substantial element of the client deliverable \n
- Cover Senior Managing Director(s) in relevant situations \n
- Lead business development activities, including:\n
- \n
- Contribute to departmental initiatives such as key accounts, pursuits, business development meetings, recruitment, charity events and overall practice development \n
- Prepare and participate in formal pitches \n
- Coaching junior team members and seek opportunities to become a counsellor \n
- Prepare for and participate in training activities \n
- Build and maintain personal relationship networks \n

What You Will Need to Succeed\n- \n
- Strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence \n
- Strong financial modelling skills \n
- Excellent communication and networking skills \n
- Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events \n
- Strong knowledge of deal structuring and closing principals \n
- Ability to lead teams and workstreams \n
- Proactive with a strong desire to contribute to the Corporate Finance segment \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Powerpoint \n
- Ability to organise and track overlapping tasks with frequent priority changes \n

- Extensive and relevant restructuring experience in a consulting firm \n
- Degree level education in a numerate subject (or equivalent) \n
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent credentials \n
