Are you ready to make a difference in your community? We’re on the lookout for a Traffic Management Operative to join our dynamic team in Towcester. This is your chance to be part of our highways maintenance crew, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety of work sites across the region.

Key Details\n

Location: Towcester – site-based, 5 days per week
Hours: Permanent Full-time, 40 hours per week
Salary: £31,000 - £35,000 per year + excellent benefits

Your Responsibilities\n

As a Traffic Management Operative, you’ll work closely with dedicated maintenance teams, providing essential traffic management support for various projects, including carriageway, footway, and drainage work. This hands-on role is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills while contributing to the improvement of local road networks.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Conducting traffic management risk assessments to ensure site safety
  • \n
  • Reviewing and implementing traffic management arrangements for minor works
  • \n
  • Supporting maintenance activities such as hand sweeping, cleaning, and litter picking
  • \n
  • Safely loading, unloading, and handling materials and equipment
  • \n
  • Collaborating with your team to deliver high-quality maintenance projects
  • \n
What We’re Looking For\n

This role is perfect for someone who:

  • Holds LANTRA Traffic Management qualifications at T1/M1 and T2/M2 levels
  • \n
  • Brings hands-on experience from highway maintenance or a similar field
  • \n
  • Has completed relevant SHE matrix training for the role
  • \n
  • Is committed to working safely and prioritizes the well-being of colleagues and the public
  • \n
  • Thrives in a team environment and enjoys contributing to shared success
