Improve SAP, maintenance data and engineering systems at a major UK manufacturing site
\nWe are recruiting for an experienced SAP Engineering Analyst to join a major chemical / process manufacturing site in Hartlepool.
\nThe plant is entering an exciting new stage, with renewed focus on engineering systems, maintenance performance, asset data, reporting and operational improvement.
\nThis is a key role where you will support and improve SAP PM, Enterprise Asset Management processes, maintenance data, Factory Information Systems and intelligent reporting tools across a complex manufacturing environment.
What youll be doing\nYou will:
\n- \n
- Act as Business Process Owner for SAP PM and Enterprise Asset Management systems. \n
- Support manufacturing, engineering and maintenance users with SAP PM and related systems. \n
- Improve maintenance, reliability and transactional efficiency through better data and processes. \n
- Develop and enhance SAP Planned Maintenance module functionality. \n
- Support common working practices for master data management. \n
- Manage SAP role allocation, user access and training requirements. \n
- Create automated reports aligned to business and engineering goals. \n
- Support performance reporting for site leadership and engineering managers. \n
- Work with external suppliers on Computer Aided Engineering solutions. \n
- Support and improve Aveva PI Vision, Factory Information Systems and web-based interfaces. \n
You will need:
\n- \n
- Experience delivering SAP Plant Maintenance or Enterprise Asset Management solutions. \n
- HNC level qualification in an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience. \n
- 5+ years industrial experience in asset management, maintenance systems or capital project execution. \n
- Strong knowledge of SAP PM and maintenance performance metrics, including OEE, MTBF and MTTR. \n
- Strong IT skills, including Excel, PI / FIS and reporting tools. \n
- Experience developing automated reports, performance dashboards or business intelligence tools. \n
- The ability to simplify complex issues and deliver practical improvements. \n
- Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills. \n
- A coaching approach, with the ability to support and influence system users. \n
It would be beneficial if you have experience of:
\n- \n
- Chemical, process, manufacturing or high-hazard industrial environments. \n
- Supporting a large SAP user community. \n
- SAP role allocation, access controls or user training. \n
- Aveva PI Vision, PI / FIS or Factory Information Systems. \n
- Statutory maintenance, planned maintenance or CAPEX data requirements. \n
- Computer Aided Engineering systems or external software suppliers. \n
- Acting as Business Process Owner for SAP, maintenance systems or asset management processes. \n
- Developing web-based interfaces or operational reporting dashboards. \n
