CNC Turner - Lathe Setter / Operator (Fanuc)

\nPurpose of Role
\nCNC Turners to work on fixed-head, Fanuc-controlled machines.
\nLooking for experienced setters and operators rather than programmers.
\nTo set and operate CNC Doosan and Nakamura lathes with Fanuc controls, producing precision-engineered components safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nSet and operate CNC turning machines
\nLoad tooling, set offsets, and prepare machines for production
\nRead and interpret engineering drawings
\nCarry out first-off and in-process inspections
\nUse micrometres, verniers, bore gauges, and other measuring equipment
\nMaintain machine performance and minimise downtime
\nSupport continuous improvement and TPM activities
\nWork to production schedules and quality requirements
\nMaintain high standards of housekeeping and safety
\nEssential Skills & Experience
\nProven CNC turning experience
\nFanuc control experience
\nAbility to set and operate CNC lathes independently
\nStrong drawing interpretation skills
\nGood inspection and measurement experience
\nPositive attitude and strong attention to detail
\nDesirable
\nAerospace or precision engineering experience
\nMulti-axis CNC turning experience
\nExperience with Nakamura, Doosan, Puma, or similar machines
\nKnowledge of GD&T
