HGV Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Docklands area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

*Please note that Class 1 and 2 can apply - typically driving a class 2 vehicle however, on occasions may be Class 1 vehicle*

Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday

Start Times: Start times vary between between 6pm - 3pm.

Pay Rate:

• £15.36 per hour PAYE
\n

Location: Docklands, E16

Job Type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing

The role:

\n
• Bulk Multi- drop - 15/20 drops/collections. Drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E/C).
\n
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
\n
• 6 months minimum experience required
\n
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
\n
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
\n
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
\n
• Excellent communication skills.
\n
• A safety-first mindset.
\n
