Job Description
A Housing Association in the Gloucestershire area is seeking an experienced Leasehold Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with a strong background in leasehold management, shared ownership, right to buy and income recovery to make an immediate impact within a customer-focused organisation.\n

- Manage a portfolio of leasehold, shared ownership, right to buy and commercial premises cases, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies. \n
- Process Right to Buy and Shared Ownership transactions from application through to completion, ensuring statutory timescales are met. \n
- Administer service charges, income collection and arrears management processes to maximise revenue and minimise debt. \n
- Manage commercial premises, including rent collection, lease compliance, renewals and tenant liaison. \n
- Work closely with legal representatives and internal stakeholders on property transactions, lease variations, easements, lender consents and related matters. \n
- Undertake Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and fraud prevention checks in line with regulatory requirements. \n
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide a high-quality service to leaseholders, shared owners and commercial tenants. \n
- Conduct home visits, site inspections and customer meetings as required. \n
- Support budget monitoring, reporting and service improvement initiatives. \n

- Substantial experience within a Leasehold Officer or Leasehold Management role. \n
- Strong knowledge of leasehold legislation, Right to Buy and Shared Ownership processes. \n
- Experience managing service charges, income collection and arrears recovery. \n
- Understanding of commercial lease management principles. \n
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), fraud prevention and safeguarding responsibilities. \n
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills. \n
- Housing qualification at Level 3 or above (or equivalent professional qualification) desirable. \n
