Job Description
Role: Air Conditioning Engineer
\nLocation: Leighton Buzzard
\n Contract: Permanent
\n Salary: £42,000 – £46,000 + Overtime + Benefits (DOE)
Omega are supporting a well-established HVAC and refrigeration business in their search for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with over 25 years of industry experience, delivering installation, service, and maintenance solutions across commercial and industrial environments including healthcare, education, and manufacturing sectors.
\nKey Responsibilities - Air Conditioning Engineer
\n- \n
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and installation of air conditioning systems \n
- Service and maintain refrigeration equipment across a range of commercial and industrial sites \n
- Install, commission, and repair ducted HVAC systems \n
- Diagnose faults and undertake repairs in a timely and professional manner \n
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and industry standards \n
- Complete service reports and required documentation accurately \n
- Work independently to manage workloads while supporting wider engineering teams when required \n
- Maintain excellent client relationships through high standards of service delivery \n
- Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and company procedures \n
Essential:
\n- \n
- F-Gas Certification 2079 – Minimum Level 1 and Level 2 \n
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the HVAC and refrigeration industry \n
- Experience working on air conditioning, refrigeration, and ducted systems \n
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
- Full UK Driving Licence \n
- Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check \n
Desirable:

- Experience working within commercial and industrial environments \n
- Knowledge of healthcare, education, or manufacturing sector requirements \n
- Additional HVAC or mechanical qualifications \n
- Experience with installation and commissioning works \n
