Location: Lyneham and surrounding areas along the M4 and M5 corridors\n
Contract: Permanent, Full Time\n
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm (40 hours per week)\n
Salary: £34,000 per annum\n

\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a team delivering essential repairs and maintenance to Service Family Accommodation (SFA) across the Defence estate.\n
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term, stable role working on occupied domestic properties, where your work will directly support military families living on site. The role offers a great work-life balance with no mandatory on-call rota and optional overtime available for those who wish to increase their earnings.\n
The Role\n
\nAs a Roofer, you will carry out general roofing repairs and maintenance across a portfolio of Service Family Homes. Working within occupied properties, you will regularly engage with military families and residents, making professionalism and excellent customer service just as important as technical ability.\n

- Diagnosing roofing issues and carrying out repairs on domestic properties \n
- Undertaking general roof maintenance and remedial works \n
- Identifying defects and recommending appropriate repair solutions \n
- Completing work safely, efficiently and to a high standard \n
- Maintaining accurate records of works completed \n
- Providing excellent customer service and managing expectations whilst working within occupied homes \n
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting wider maintenance activities when required \n
About You\n
\nWe are looking for practical, reliable and customer-focused individuals who take pride in the quality of their work.\n
\nYou will have:\n

- \n
- Previous roofing experience, either as a qualified or time-served roofer \n
- Experience carrying out domestic roofing repairs and maintenance \n
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills \n
- A strong understanding of health and safety and safe working practices at height \n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills \n
- A full UK driving licence \n
