Rate : £150- £190 per day

About our School

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled SEN Teacher (Art Specialist) to join a welcoming and inclusive Cognition and Learning Unit within a well-established mainstream primary school. You will work with a small group of KS1 and KS2 pupils with cognition and learning needs, delivering highly personalised teaching in Maths, English, and Art.

Responsibilities

\n
• Take responsible for the quality of teaching and learning for pupils
\n
• Plan and deliver well-structured, differentiated lessons Maths and English.
\n
• Inspire & support pupils to develop confidence and creativity in Art
\n

Enhance Art provision to support pupils with:

Speech, language and communication needs

Literacy difficulties

Social, emotional and mental health needs

Complex SEND profiles

\n
• Work collaboratively with classteachers and leadership to support wider learning
\n

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

\n
• QualifiedTeacherStatus (QTS) desirable
\n

Experience SEN teaching at primary level

\n
• Confident delivering practical and engagingArt lessons
\n
• Able to create a positive, inclusive and well-structured learning environment
\n
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
\n
