CDS Labour are currently looking an experienced Pump Technician who takes pride in solving problems, delivering quality workmanship, and building strong relationships with customers. As a Multi-Skilled Pump Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and fault finding of a wide range of pumping equipment across industrial, commercial and domestic environments.

\n

No two days are the same in this role, one day you could be commissioning a new booster set in a commercial building, the next diagnosing a fault at a sewage pumping station or carrying out planned maintenance on critical pumping systems.

\n

The Role:

\n

Install, service and repair pumping systems and associated equipment.

\n

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works.

\n

Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions on-site.

\n

Test, inspect and commission equipment to ensure full operational performance.

\n

Complete electronic job reports accurately and efficiently.

\n

Provide technical advice and support to customers and colleagues.

\n

Liaise with suppliers to source parts and equipment when required.

\n

Participate in the out of hours on call rota

\n

Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and workmanship at all times.

\n

What we need from you:

\n

City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualification in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline

\n

Minimum 3 years' post-apprenticeship experience

\n

Full UK Driving Licence

\n

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

\n

Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively

\n

Good communication skills

\n

Experience in any of the below is Desirable:

\n

Booster Sets

\n

Pressurisation Units

\n

Sump Pumps

\n

Thermal Expansion Systems

\n

Sewage & Drainage Pumping Stations

\n

HVAC Pumping Equipment

\n

Grease Removal Systems

\n

System Commissioning

\n
