Light Commercial Vehicle Technician - Preston \n
£17 per hour - Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 5:30pm (40 hours)\n
\nWe're looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and friendly workshop, working on a varied mix of cars and light commercial vehicles. If you're passionate about delivering quality workmanship and want genuine opportunities to develop your career, this could be the role for you.\n
\nWhether you're carrying out routine servicing or tackling more complex mechanical repairs, you'll play a key role in keeping vehicles safe, reliable and road-ready.\n

\nMOT Tester training (if not already qualified)\n

\nClear progression into HGV maintenance\n

The Role\n
\nService, inspect and repair cars and light commercial vehicles.\n
\nCarry out major mechanical repairs, including cambelts, clutches, gearboxes and engine replacements.\n
\nDiagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.\n
\nPrepare vehicles for MOT testing.\n
\nConduct MOT tests (Class 4, 5 & 7) if qualified.\n
\nComplete job cards and workshop documentation accurately.\n
\nDeliver high-quality workmanship while working efficiently.\n
What We're Looking For\n
\nLevel 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance.\n
\nFull UK driving licence.\n
\nOwn tools.\n
\nStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.\n
Desirable:\n
\nMOT Tester Licence (Class 4, 5 or 7)\n
