\nSalary: From £37,700 (depending on experience) + Excellent Benefits
\nHours: 45 hours per week
\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a successful main dealership representing one of the automotive industry's most recognised brands.
\nReporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the workshop, ensuring work is allocated effectively, productivity targets are achieved, and exceptional levels of customer service are maintained. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who can inspire technicians, drive performance, and ensure the smooth flow of work through the workshop.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nAllocate work effectively to Technicians to maximise productivity and efficiency.
\nMonitor the progress of vehicles through the workshop and ensure deadlines are met.
\nLiaise closely with the Service Department to deliver a seamless customer experience.
\nProvide technical support and guidance to colleagues and customers when required.
\nLead, coach and motivate the workshop team to achieve performance targets.
\nEnsure all incoming work is planned and managed effectively.
\nMaintain high standards of quality, compliance, stock control and Health & Safety.
\nSupport the achievement of departmental KPIs and business objectives.
\nAbout You
\nMinimum of 2 years' experience in a Workshop Controller or similar role within a main franchised dealership.
\nStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
\nExcellent organisational and communication skills.
\nStrong technical knowledge and understanding of workshop operations.
\nCustomer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise effectively.
