\nAcademics is working closely with a fantastic, high-achieving Primary School in Amersham that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join their Early Years team from September 2026.
\nAbout the Role:
\n- \n
- Full-time (Monday to Friday) \n
- Supporting Early Years pupils within a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment \n
- Working alongside the class teacher to deliver the EYFS curriculum \n
- Providing tailored support for children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including communication and interaction needs, autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs \n
- Delivering small-group and one-to-one interventions to support children's learning, communication, and social development \n
- Taking observations, monitoring progress, and contributing to individual learning plans and support strategies \n
- Working closely with the school's SENCO, teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need \n
- Long-term opportunity for the full academic year, with training and progression available \n
What We're Looking For:
\n- \n
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (e.g. NVQ, CACHE, BA) \n
- GCSEs in Maths & English (A*-C / 9-4) \n
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework \n
- Experience carrying out Early Years observations and assessments \n
- Experience supporting children with SEN in an Early Years, nursery, or primary school setting is highly desirable \n
- A good understanding of inclusive practice and the ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs \n
- A confident, patient, proactive, and positive attitude \n
- A team player who is adaptable, committed, and passionate about early childhood education \n
