About the Role\n

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a leading chilled distribution operation based inBognor Regis (PO22)

\n

This role involves the transportation of chilled products, including salads and plants, across the UK. The operation runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering both day and night shift opportunities, with tramping available for drivers seeking additional earning potential.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Long-distance trunking and nationwide deliveries.
    • \n
  • Transporting chilled goods, including fresh produce and plants.
    • \n
  • Conducting vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork.
    • \n
  • Ensuring goods are delivered safely, securely, and on time.
    • \n
  • Adhering to all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and Road Transport regulations.
    • \n
  • Maintaining excellent standards of professionalism and customer service.
    • \n
  • Following all company health and safety procedures.
    • \n
Candidate RequirementsEssential\n
    \n
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
    • \n
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
    • \n
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
    • \n
  • Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulations.
    • \n
  • Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach.
    • \n
  • Ability to work days, nights, and weekends when required.
    • \n
Desirable\n

  • Previous experience within chilled distribution.
    • \n
  • Tramping experience.
    • \n
  • Experience with long-distance trunking operations.
    • \n
