We are delighted to be recruiting for Class 1 drivers to do trunking work.
\n
Start Friday 19th
\n
Core Duties & Responsibilities
\n
\n - Trunking: Moving loaded/unloaded trailers between various depots and customer sites nationwide.
\n - No Handballing: Primarily uncoupling/coupling trailers and swapping them; physical loading/unloading is rarely required.
\n - Compliance: Conducting daily vehicle checks via a mobile app, reporting defects, and adhering to EU Drivers' Hours and WTD regulations.
\n - Communication: Updating the Transport Team on any route delays or issues. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Essential Requirements
\n
\n - Licence: Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
\n - Experience: Minimum 6 to 12 months of Class 1 driving experience.
\n - Cards: Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
