Part-Time Senior Accountant (Potential to turn to full time employment)

Location: Mirfield (open to the ideal candidate working from home after the first month)

\n

\n

Hours: 15-22.5 hours per week

\n

\n

Salary: £29-36k (Pro rata) dependent on experience

\n

\n

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our rapidly growing practice on a part-time basis.

\n

\n

This role is ideal for an experienced qualified practice accountant who enjoys working independently and takes pride in delivering high-quality accounts and tax work. We would also consider someone qualified by experience with 8+ years experience in practice.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n

* Preparation of year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.

\n

* Preparation and submission of corporation tax returns.

\n

* Reviewing client records and resolving accounting queries.

\n

* Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and explain financial results.

\n

* Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

\n

\n

About You

\n

\n

The successful candidate will have:

\n

\n

* AAT qualification (or qualified by significant practice experience).

\n

* A minimum of 4 years’ experience in an accountancy practice.

\n

* Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and corporation tax.

\n

* Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero & QuickBooks.

\n

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

\n

* The ability to manage your own workload and work with minimal supervision.

\n

* Strong communication and client relationship skills.

\n

\n
