Our client, a respected and established regional law firm, is seeking a Family Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE to join its growing Family Department. \nThe successful candidate will work across the firm's offices in Saffron Walden, Sawston, and Haverhill, managing a varied private family law caseload with dedicated secretarial support and access to modern case management systems.

You will manage a broad range of family law matters, including:

Divorce and separation
\n - \n
Financial remedy matters
\n - \n
Children Act proceedings
\n - \n
Child arrangements disputes
\n - \n
Cohabitation disputes
\n - \n
Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
\n - \n
Domestic abuse and injunction applications
\n - \n
Separation agreements
\n - \n
General family law advisory work
\n
\nKey Responsibilities\n
\n

Managing a family law caseload from instruction to conclusion.
\n - \n
Providing clear, practical, and empathetic legal advice.
\n - \n
Drafting legal documents, court applications, and correspondence.
\n - \n
Conducting client meetings and maintaining strong client relationships.
\n - \n
Representing clients at hearings where appropriate.
\n - \n
Liaising with courts, barristers, experts, and third parties.
\n - \n
Ensuring compliance with SRA regulations and firm procedures.
\n - \n
Delivering exceptional levels of client care.
\n - \n
Supporting business development and networking activities.
\n
\nCandidate Requirements\n
\n

Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE in Family Law.
\n - \n
Experience managing a private family law caseload independently.
\n - \n
Strong client care, communication, and relationship management skills.
\n - \n
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and organisational abilities.
\n - \n
Proactive and professional approach.
\n - \n
Experience using case management systems is advantageous.
\n - \n
Advocacy experience and Resolution membership are desirable but not essential.
