Hours: Monday Friday 8am-5pm

We are seeking a Quality Systems Lead to drive food safety, quality and compliance across our site. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical professional who is passionate about maintaining high standards, leading audits, and continuously improving quality systems within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and develop the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
\n
• Lead internal audit programmes and coordinate customer and third-party audits.
\n
• Ensure compliance with BRCGS, customer, legislative and company requirements.
\n
• Manage customer complaints, investigations and corrective actions.
\n
• Support customer specifications and technical information systems.
\n
• Analyse quality data, trends and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
\n
• Lead root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects.
\n
• Promote a positive food safety and quality culture across the site.
\n
• Support and develop Quality Technologists and Technical Administration teams.
\n

Essential

\n
• Degree or Diploma in Food Safety, Food Technology or a related discipline.
\n
• HACCP Level 4 qualification.
\n
• Experience managing quality systems within a food manufacturing environment.
\n
• Strong understanding of food safety legislation, quality standards and audits.
\n
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
\n
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
\n
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
\n

Desirable

\n
• Experience with BRCGS and customer audits.
\n
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
\n
• Experience leading technical or quality improvement projects.
