As a Delivery Driver 3.5T based in Thetford youll be responsible for:

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Driving a 3.5T van with a tail lift to deliver large and heavy plumbing and heating supplies.

    • \n
  • \n

    Generally you will be carrying out deliveries to our customers who include building/construction sites, social housing, and members of the public.

    • \n
  • \n

    Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators toilets and sinks.

    • \n
  • \n

    When you are not driving you will be assisting in the warehouse with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.

    • \n
  • \n

    Carrying out vehicle checks.

    • \n
  • \n

    Potentially serving customers at the trade counter.

    • \n
\n

This is a permanent position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

\n

And heres what wed like you to have:

  • \n

    Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

    • \n
  • \n

    Previous multidrop delivery and experience of driving a 3.5T van.

    • \n
  • \n

    Previous warehouse experience is preferred.

    • \n
  • \n

    Excellent communication skills.

    • \n
  • \n

    To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
