M4 Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers to join one of our well-established clients.

\n

This is a fantastic opportunity to work throughout the busy events season, delivering catering equipment to some of the UK's biggest festivals, shows, and racecourses.

The Role\n

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

\n

\n
• \n

  Delivering catering equipment to festivals, shows, racecourses, and other event venues

\n
• \n

  Completing 24 deliveries or collections per day

\n
• \n

  Assisting with unloading alongside an experienced on-site team

\n
• \n

  Moving equipment on wheels, with no heavy manual lifting required

\n
• \n

  Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks

\n
• \n

  Completing delivery paperwork accurately

\n
• \n

  Following all transport legislation, driver hours, and health & safety procedures

\n

Working Hours\n

\n
• \n

  Monday to Friday

\n
• \n

  Start times between 4:00am and 5:00am

\n
• \n

  Occasional Saturday work may be available depending on the event schedule

\n
• \n

  Ongoing work available until September

\n
• \n

  Immediate starts available

\n

Pay\n

• \n

  £18.00 per hour

\n
• \n

  Weekly pay

Requirements\n

To be considered, you'll need:

\n

\n
• \n

  A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence

\n
• \n

  A valid Driver CPC qualification

\n
• \n

  A valid Digital Tachograph Card

\n
• \n

  A minimum of 2 years' Class 1 driving experience (insurance requirement)

\n
• \n

  No more than 6 penalty points

\n
• \n

  A good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations

\n
• \n

  A reliable, professional, and flexible approach to work

\n
