Refrigeration Engineer
\nWhat We're Looking For
\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a Refrigeration Engineer to join our team.
\nAs a Refrigeration Engineer, you'll play a part in keeping some of the UK's biggest brands on the road, responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, repair, and servicing of customers' fleets.
\nHours: Monday - Friday; 8am - 4:30pm
\nOvertime available at time and a half - OTE 55K
\nHours of work: Monday - Friday; 8am - 4:30pm (with one weekend in five)
\nResponsibilities:
\n\n- \n
- Service and repair of all makes and models of transport refrigeration units including Carrier Transicold on different sites. \n
- Installation of transport refrigeration units including trailer, truck and light commercial vehicle units. \n
- Electrical, electronic, mechanical and refrigeration fault diagnosis and repair. \n
- Able to work sufficiently and effectively remotely on busy customer premises away from workshop environment. \n
- Able to be part of a call out rota to cover out-of-hours breakdowns. \n
- Support workshops team members including Apprentice Engineers as required. \n
- Accurately record time and parts to complete jobs and associated details on mobile application. \n
- Ensuring a first-time fix on all repairs where possible. \n
- Manage van stock to ensure correct parts are always carried. \n
- Ad-hoc duties as required. \n
- Health and safety at work and workshop cleanliness is of paramount importance. \n
Qualifications:
\n\n- \n
- F-Gas C&G 2079-11. \n
- Valid UK driving licence as using company service vehicle. \n
- Working remotely and travelling to customer premises for the majority of work. \n
- Installation experience of transport refrigeration units. \n
- Experience working in this role/a similar role. \n
- Excellent customer service mindset. \n
- Great communication skills. \n
- Ability to work quickly and effectively. \n
- Must be hardworking and self-motivated and a productive Engineer. \n
- Ability to tackle all aspects of repair and servicing transport refrigeration units. \n
- Diagnostics skills / qualifications - desirable. \n
- Fleet experience. \n
