HGV Class 1 Driver

Careermakers Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for our client based in Blackburn.

We have ongoing Monday to Friday work available with start times between 15:00 and 20:00.

This is a double-manned role, where one driver will be driving while the other member of the crew operates a forklift truck to unload deliveries at each depot.

Duties include:

• Double-manned depot delivery work
\n
• Delivering goods to other depots
\n
• 57 drops per shift
\n
• Trailer swaps where required
\n
• Completing all relevant paperwork
\n
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
\n
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
\n
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
\n
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
\n
