\nAbout the Role\n
\nWe are currently recruiting for a Temporary QA Technician / QA Auditor to support the Technical team at a leading food manufacturing site in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to take on a hands-on role within a fast-paced factory environment.\n
\nThe position is predominantly factory-floor based, where you will play a key role in maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards.\n
\nKey Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Conduct routine QA checks across the production process
\n
• Carry out GMP audits and pre-start checks
\n
• Perform label and CCP/quality checks
\n
• Support product traceability processes
\n
• Complete hygiene verification activities
\n
• Raise and manage non-conformance reports
\n
• Provide general support to the Technical team to ensure compliance
\n

\n
\nAbout You\n
\nTo be successful, you will bring:\n
\n

\n
• Previous experience in food manufacturing quality assurance
\n
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and allergen controls
\n
• Experience working in chilled food, cooked meat, poultry, high-care or high-risk environments (desirable)
\n
• Confidence to challenge non-compliance and drive standards on the factory floor
\n
• Excellent attention to detail with accurate record-keeping skills
\n
• Reliability and a clear plan for commuting to the Plymouth site
\n
