We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Upholsterer to join our client working on high-quality bespoke furniture for private individuals. The role involves upholstering custom-made pieces, stripping, fitting, cutting, foam work and finishing to a high standard.\n
\nThis is a great opportunity for someone with strong traditional and modern upholstery skills who takes pride in precision, quality, and finishing to work with a small and friendly team.\n
Key Responsibilities:\n

  • Measure, cut and fit fabrics, leather, foam and fillings accurately
  • \n
  • Carry out both modern and traditional upholstery techniques
  • \n
  • Ensure all work meets high-quality finishing standards
  • \n
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • \n
  • Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards
  • \n
Skills and Experience sought from the Upholsterer:\n

  • Previous upholstery experience
  • \n
  • Stripping and rebuilding furniture
  • \n
  • Cutting and fitting fabric
  • \n
  • Sewing cushions and covers
  • \n
  • Good attention to detail
