Mobile Refrigeration Engineer

Locations: Midlands (Birmingham & Coventry) | South Birmingham

We are currently seeking experienced Refrigeration Engineers to join a well-established Facilities Management business delivering maintenance services across a portfolio of commercial and retail sites.

The Role

As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on a range of refrigeration equipment across multiple client sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planned and reactive maintenance of refrigeration systems
\n
• Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of equipment
\n
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with industry regulations and company standards
\n
• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
\n
• Providing excellent customer service whilst on site
\n
• Participating in the on-call rota as required
\n

Requirements

\n
• Proven experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer
\n
• Relevant refrigeration qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)
\n
• F-Gas Certification
\n
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• Experience working within commercial or retail environments is desirable
\n

Package

\n
• Salary: £45,000 £50,000 per annum (depending on experience and contracted hours)
\n
• Standby rota: 1 in 4, with additional payment and overtime opportunities
\n
• Additional on-call earning opportunities available
\n
• Company vehicle provided
\n
• Fuel card
\n
• Company phone and tablet
\n
• Tools supplied
\n
• Monday to Friday working pattern (8:00am 5:00pm)
\n
• Overtime available
