Accounts & Outsourcing Manager

Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts & Outsourcing Manager or Senior Manager opportunity on behalf of our client in Yeovil.\n
\nWill be working with an impressive client base, involving a mixture of accounts (year end and monthly management reporting), business advisory and ad hoc project work.\n
\nPerfect for an ACCA or ACA Qualified individual with strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS102 looking for the next step up in their career.\n

The Role:\n
\nManaging a portfolio of clients\n
\nPreparation and review of year end financial statements\n
\nPreparation/ review of management accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis\n
\nPreparation and review of monthly management reporting packs\n
\nProviding commentary and analysis\n
\nBudgeting and forecasting\n
\nEnsuring all client reporting and payment deadlines are met\n
\nReview of VAT returns\n
\nReview of monthly journals, prepayments, accruals, and depreciation\n
\nPreparation and review of monthly financial reporting packs for review\n
\nIdentifying areas to improve existing systems & processes\n
\nTraining junior staff and reviewing their work.\n
\nDevelop strong relationships with clients including client visits and review meetings.\n
You:\n
\nACCA or ACA Qualified\n
\nAccountancy practice experience\n
\nStrong financial and management reporting experience\n
\nExcellent working knowledge of FRS102 reporting standards\n
\nGood communication skills\n
