\nYoull be joining ourHighways maintenance team, as the UKs number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.\n

What will you be doing?\n
\nYou'll work as part of a team undertaking highways repairs, ranging from potholes, patching, drainage, footways and general highway maintenance.\n
\nYou'll use technology (tablets/apps) to input safety data and maintenance records.\n
\nDriving operate plant and equipment where trained, necessary for the for the day to day tasks set.\n
\nWe'll ask you to take responsibility for vehicles/plant/materials in your charge. Where appropriate provide direction/supervision of the work to less experienced operatives.\n
\nPart of the role is to undertake winter and emergency maintenance out of hours activities on a standby rota.\n
What youll bring\n
\nDo you have a clean driving License\n
\nA commitment to Health and Safety\n
\nGood communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy\n
\nLGV Class C driving licence OR demonstrate capability to support investment of LGV Class C training during probationary period\n
\nDo you have a CSCS Card?\n
\nAbility to undertake a high level of manual work and work outdoors in all weathers.\n
