StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Day and Night Drivers for ongoing trunking work based in Desborough. There are also temp-to-perm opportunities. We are offering consistent long-term work, immediate starts, and competitive PAYE rates within a well-organised 7-day operation.

Drivers will benefit from a straightforward trunking role with pre-loaded trailers, modern equipment, and no handball involved.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

• Monday - Friday AM - £20.17ph including holiday pay

• Monday - Friday PM - £21.29ph including holiday pay

• Saturday - £22.41ph including holiday pay
• Sunday - £23.53ph including holiday pay

What the role involves

You'll be completing trunking work between distribution centres using pre-loaded trailers carrying ambient goods. This is primarily a drop-and-swap operation with no handball required.

The operation runs 7 days per week, with shifts averaging 9–12 hours and 8 hours guaranteed per shift. Immediate starts are available with ongoing weekly bookings.

Our ideal candidate

• Holds a valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 2 years
\n • Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
\n • Has no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, IN, or DR offences)
\n • Temperature-controlled experience is preferred but not essential
