Salary:£34,398 - £48,913 per year (M1 UPS1 Fringe) **Plus £5,000 Welcome bonus For Qualified Teacher*\n
Hours:40 hours per week-Term Time only - Start time 8.15am - Finish time Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 4.45pm. Tuesday 5pm and Friday 4pm\n
\n We are currently seeking a dedicatedTeacherwith ASC experienceto join a specialist school supportingautistic students aged between 11 16, whohave associated behavioural and communication difficulties.\n
The role:\n
\n As a Teacher you will deliver high quality teaching and learning to students within the school.\n
Key Duties:\n
\n

\n
• Deliver and develop the curriculum to meet students educational, physical, and social needs, using effective short-, medium-, and long?term planning.
\n
• Work collaboratively within a multi?disciplinary team and maintain strong communication with staff, parents/carers, and external professionals.
\n
• Set, monitor, and review personalised targets, assessing and reporting on student progress in line with school policies and statutory requirements.
\n
• Plan structured, motivating lessons and reflect on outcomes to improve teaching practice.
\n
• Contribute to reviews such as Statements, EHCPs, PEPs, and LAC meetings.
\n
• Maintain up?to?date knowledge through professional development and awareness of current autism practice.
\n
• Support curriculum development and model high standards of conduct and professional relationships.
\n
• Manage delegated budgets responsibly and address challenging behaviour using school policies in a non?confrontational manner.
\n

Experience /Qualifications:\n
\n

\n
• QTS is essential
\n
• Experience of working in a special school environment and in particular with pupils with ASC and SEND
\n
• Experience of successfully delivering a differentiated curriculum to pupils with a wide range of needs.
\n
• Ability to teach across a range of subjects.
\n
