BMS Commissioning Engineer

Location: Glasgow, UK (Site-based with regional travel)
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

\n We are currently supporting the search for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join a growing building controls team delivering projects across Glasgow and the surrounding region.
\n This role involves commissioning, testing, and optimising Building Management Systems on a variety of commercial and industrial sites, supporting the delivery of efficient and sustainable building performance.

• Commissioning and validation of BMS systems (Trend, Siemens, Schneider, Distech, Tridium or equivalent)
\n
• Carrying out point-to-point checks, I/O testing, and full functional performance testing
\n
• Integrating HVAC plant in line with design specifications
\n
• Diagnosing and resolving commissioning and control issues on-site
\n
• Working closely with project managers, engineers, and client teams
\n
• Producing accurate commissioning documentation and handover packs
\n
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality standards
\n
• Supporting client demonstrations and system handovers
\n

\n
• Proven experience in a BMS Commissioning Engineer or similar controls role
\n
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and building automation
\n
• Experience with major BMS platforms
\n
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
\n
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
\n
• Full UK driving licence (regional travel required)
\n
• Confident working independently and as part of a team
\n

• BACnet, Modbus, KNX or similar protocols
\n
• Experience in large commercial environments (e.g. hospitals, data centres, retail)
\n
• Knowledge of energy optimisation or smart building systems
\n
