Recruit A Driver is currently looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to provide holiday cover for one of our long-standing clients based in Normanton.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who enjoys a regular route and is comfortable carrying out a varied driving role.

\n

A paid training day is available on Wednesday 1st July, ensuring you're fully familiar with the route and the job before covering the holiday period.

The Role\n

As a Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for:

• Early morning 02:00 starts from Normanton
\n
• Driving to Dunmow, Essex
\n
• Using a forklift truck to unload and reload transport frames
\n
• Returning the load back to Normanton
\n
• Completing daily vehicle checks and following all transport compliance procedures
\n
• Delivering a professional and reliable service on behalf of our client
\n

\n

This is typically a 1011 hour shift, offering straightforward work with a consistent route.

What We're Looking For\n

To be considered, you'll need:

\n

\n
• A valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
\n
• Recent commercial Class 2 driving experience
\n
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
\n
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
\n
• A reliable, professional attitude
\n
• Forklift truck experience would be advantageous, or the confidence to carry out loading and unloading duties if training is provided
\n
