\n CBW Staffing Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading facilities management organisation, on a permanent basis. Youll carry out servicing, fault-finding, repairs and minor installations on a range of commercial heating systems across commercial sites.\n
\n You will be working both independently and occasionally as part of a small team, covering Hull, Scunthorpe, Lincoln, Grimsby down to Peterborough.\n
\n Package:\n

• Competitive salary up to £52,000 per annum (depending on experience)
\n
• Van & fuel card supplied
\n
• Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
\n
• Participation in an out of hours on call rota (to be confirmed)
\n

Responsibilities:\n
\n

\n
• Servicing and maintenance of a variety of commercial gas appliances and systems, including boilers, heaters, and pipework
\n
• Perform routine inspections and safety checks to ensure gas systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with industry standards
\n
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in gas appliances, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum safety
\n
• Conduct gas leak tests and carbon monoxide checks to identify and mitigate potential hazards
\n
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades
\n
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to promote a safe working environment
\n

Qualifications:\n
\n

\n
• Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry
\n
• Gas Safe Register certification and relevant qualifications (e.g. ACS, COCN1, CODNCO1)
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• Strong knowledge of commercial gas appliances, systems, and regulations
\n
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults
\n
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Effective communication and customer service skills
\n
