\nWe are currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join our dynamic and growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with a strong background in CNC machining and problem-solving in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.
\nCNC Miller, Setter, Opertor - Key Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Set up, and operate, CNC milling machines (3, 4, or 5-axis). \n
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM data. \n
- Select and fit appropriate tooling, materials, and fixtures. \n
- Perform in-process quality checks and adjust programs as needed. \n
- Maintain machinery and ensure optimal performance. \n
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes. \n
CNC Miller, Setter, Operator - About You:
\n- \n
- Minimum 35 years of hands-on CNC milling experience. \n
- Proficient in setting and operating. \n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. \n
- Comfortable working to tight tolerances in low- or medium-batch production. \n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. \n
- Positive attitude and a team-player mentality. \n
Desirable (but not essential):
\n- \n
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Edgecam). \n
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods. \n
- Previous experience in precision engineering sectors. \n
