Salary:OTE £60,000+ per annum

The Role
\nWe are recruiting for an experienced HGV Tanker Driver / Drainage Engineer to join a well-established and growing specialist water pump services business based in Aylesford.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UKs leading providers of water pump solutions, drainage services, and wastewater management systems, supporting a wide range of commercial, industrial, and blue-chip clients.
\nThe successful candidate will carry out a range of specialist drainage services including the emptying, cleaning, maintenance, and servicing of customer assets, whilst operating high-pressure vacuum suction equipment and ensuring the highest standards of health & safety and customer service.
\nThis role would suit an experienced Drainage Engineer, Vacuum Tanker Operator, HGV Tanker Driver, or Wastewater Operative looking for strong earning potential, regular overtime, and long-term career development.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nCarry out the emptying, cleaning, and maintenance of customer drainage and wastewater assets
\nOperate high-pressure vacuum suction equipment safely and efficiently
\nDeliver drainage, waste, and tanker services across commercial and industrial sites
\nAccurately complete job sheets, reports, and documentation using internal systems and client apps
\nDeliver a high standard of customer service and technical support on-site
\nEnsure all works are completed in line with Health & Safety procedures and industry regulations
\nParticipate in an on-call rota to support emergency response services
\nMaintain vehicles and equipment to operational and safety standards
\nWork flexibly across early starts, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight stays where required
\nKey Requirements
\nMinimum HGV Class 2 licence (HGV Class 1 preferred but not essential)
\nPrevious experience operating vacuum tankers
\nGood understanding of drainage and sewerage operations
\nKnowledge of Health & Safety requirements relating to drainage and waste operations
\nExperience within the drainage, utilities, water, environmental, or wastewater sectors
\nPositive, flexible, and proactive attitude
\nWillingness to work unsociable hours and participate in an on-call rota
\nFull UK Driving Licence
\nMust live within 45 minutes of the Aylesford depot
