\n Vector Recruitment Solutions are working with a fast-growing business within the Heat Networks sector, who are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Gas & Plant Engineer to support the maintenance and operation of commercial energy centres and district heating systems.\n
\n This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer or Plant Room Engineer looking for a varied role involving PPMs, reactive repairs, fault finding and project work across large-scale commercial plant rooms.\n
The Role\n

\n
• Planned and reactive maintenance on commercial plant equipment
\n
• Fault finding and repair work on pumps, valves, heat exchangers, pressurisation units and pipework
\n
• Attending reactive call-outs to restore heating and resolve plant failures
\n
• Supporting plant improvement and remediation projects
\n
• Completing maintenance reports and records
\n
• Participating in an on-call rota (1 week in 4)
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Experience working within commercial plant rooms or mechanical plant environments
\n
• Strong knowledge of commercial boilers and mechanical plant systems
\n
• Experience working on pumps, valves and associated equipment
\n
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Gas, Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering
\n
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n

Experience within district heating or heat networks would be advantageous but is not essential.\n
Package\n

• Up to £49,000 basic salary
\n
