Location: Warren Street, London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm
Salary: £55,000

The Opportunity\n

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join the engineering team at a prestigious commercial property in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer looking to take on a senior role within a high-profile site. You will be responsible for leading electrical maintenance activities, supporting the wider engineering team, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all building services.

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Lead electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities
  • \n
  • Carry out fault finding, repairs, and maintenance on electrical systems and associated plant
  • \n
  • Support the day-to-day operation of critical building services infrastructure
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety standards, and site procedures
  • \n
  • Assist in supervising specialist contractors and reviewing completed works
  • \n
  • Provide technical support and guidance to fellow engineers on-site
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports through CAFM systems
  • \n
  • Identify opportunities for plant improvements and energy efficiency initiatives
  • \n
  • Act as a key point of contact for electrical matters on-site
  • \n
About You\n
    \n
  • Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
  • \n
  • Previous experience as an Authorised Person (AP) for LV and/or HV systems
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, switchgear, lighting, power, UPS, generators, and associated building services systems
  • \n
  • Experience working within commercial buildings, critical environments, or high-profile sites
  • \n
  • Proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of safe systems of work and permit procedures
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • \n
  • A proactive and professional approach to engineering maintenance
  • \n
