Senior Control Systems Engineer\n
\nLocation - Rotherham\n
\nAre you experienced with PLC and SCADA control systems?\n
\nDo you enjoy leading projects through the full lifecycle?\n
\nWould you like a role with flexibility and an early finish on Fridays?\n
\nWhat's in it for you?\n
\nUp to £65k basic salary\n
\n4.5% pension\n

\n1pm finish on a Friday\n
\nWhat will you be doing?\n
\nYou'll lead and support control system projects from design through to commissioning.\n
\nYou'll produce specifications, schedules, reports, test documents and functional design documentation.\n
\nYou'll develop PLC and SCADA software to meet project requirements.\n
\nYou'll carry out testing, fault finding and commissioning in-house and on site.\n
\nYou'll support network designs and system integration using protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Profibus and Profinet.\n
\nYou'll mentor less experienced engineers and share technical knowledge across the team.\n
\nWhere you'll be doing it?\n
\nYou'll join an independent systems integrator delivering software, hardware and turnkey engineering solutions across process control, safety systems and support projects.\n
\nWhat you'll need:\n
\nExperience developing PLC software from concept.\n
\nExperience developing SCADA software from concept.\n
\nGood hardware design and documentation experience.\n
\nStrong knowledge of communications protocols, networks and fault finding.\n
\nAbility to produce technical specifications and test plans.\n
\nExperience across control, automation, process or safety systems.\n
\nKnowledge of functional safety or machinery safety would be useful.\n
\nA UK driving licence and passport.\n
\nAt least 6 years' relevant experience.\n
