Role: Registered Manager - Residential Childcare\n
\nLocation: Aylesford, Kent\n
\nSalary: Circa £40k-£63k + bonus + support with relevant qualifications (see below) + benefits\n
\nHours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (On call rota)\n
\nA leading childrens residential home has partnered with our agency to appoint an exceptional Registered Manager for their residential home in Kent.\n

\nWe are seeking a proven leader with a track record of managing a Childrens Home rated Good or Outstanding. You will be ambitious, values-led, and ready to take full ownership of a home with strong organisational backing and genuine long-term investment.\n
\nThe Opportunity\n
\nAs Registered Manager, you will:\n
\n- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the Home\n
\n- Ensure young people receive exceptional emotional and physical care\n
\n- Build, lead, and develop a passionate, values-driven staff team\n
\n- Embed a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning\n
\n- Drive compliance across safeguarding, health & safety, finance, and governance\n
\n- Oversee induction, supervision, and appraisal processes to elevate staff performance\n
\n- Play a key role within the wider senior management team, contributing to strategic growth\n
\nThis is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on accountability and takes pride in delivering standards that exceed regulatory expectations.\n
\nWe are looking for a Registered Manager who:\n
\n- You must have at least 2 years of experience working in a children's residential home or a very similar environment in the last 5 years (legal requirement)\n
\n- Holds or is working towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (legal requirement)\n
\n- You must have 1 year of experience managing staff in a relevant care setting (legal requirement)\n
\n- Experience as a dual registered manager (bonus)\n
\n- Demonstrates strong leadership, resilience, and emotional intelligence\n
\n- Is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people\n
\n- Is prepared to undertake an enhanced DBS and provide references\n
\n- Holds a Level 3 Diploma in Childrens Residential Childcare (minimum)\n
