\nTWC Home Improvements is looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our Installation Depot team.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established and growing company where quality, teamwork and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything we do.
\nBased at our Swindon Installation Depot, you'll play an important role in supporting our installation teams by preparing products, maintaining exceptional quality standards and ensuring work leaving the depot is completed accurately and efficiently.
\nThe Role
\nAs a Fabricator, you'll undertake a variety of workshop and depot-based duties, helping to prepare products and materials for installation while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
\nA key part of the role is quality control, ensuring products are thoroughly checked before leaving the depot and identifying any issues before they reach our customers. You'll also work closely with colleagues across the business to help keep installations running smoothly and on schedule.
\nNo two days are exactly the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in their work and is happy to support the wider team wherever needed.
\nResponsibilities
\nAssist with the preparation and fabrication of products for installation.
\nCarry out thorough quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards.
\nCheck completed work against job specifications and identify any issues before dispatch.
\nSupport the fabrication process by ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently and to the
\nhighest standard.
\nWork closely with colleagues to ensure installation schedules are supported.
\nReport damaged or defective materials where necessary.
\nMaintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
\nFollow all company Health & Safety procedures.
\nProvide general workshop support as required.
\nWhat We're Looking For
\nPrevious fabrication, manufacturing or workshop experience is advantageous.
\nExcellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
\nGood practical skills and the ability to work with your hands.
\nA positive attitude and strong work ethic.
\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
\nReliable, organised and adaptable.
\nExperience within the home improvement, manufacturing or construction industry would be
\nbeneficial, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.
