Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of a range of fire and security systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites. This role requires a customer-focused professional with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to delivering high standards of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Install, service, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems. \n
- Install and maintain intruder alarm systems. \n
- Service and fault-find CCTV systems, including IP-based systems. \n
- Install and maintain access control systems. \n
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits in accordance with company and industry standards. \n
- Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently and effectively. \n
- Complete all relevant service reports, worksheets, and compliance documentation accurately. \n
- Ensure all work complies with current health and safety legislation and industry regulations. \n
- Provide technical support and advice to customers on system operation and maintenance. \n
- Participate in an on-call rota where required. \n
- Maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicle in good condition. \n
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and colleagues. \n

- Proven experience working as a Fire & Security Engineer. \n
- Strong knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems. \n
- Experience carrying out installations, servicing, maintenance, and fault finding. \n
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. \n
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. \n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills. \n
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. \n
- Good IT skills for completing digital reports and documentation. \n

- Relevant industry experience within fire and security engineering. \n
- Full UK Driving Licence. \n
- ECS/CSCS Card (desirable). \n
- FIA qualifications (desirable). \n
- Manufacturer training certifications (desirable). \n
