The successful candidate will manage their own varied private client caseload from instruction through to completion, advising individuals and families on a broad range of private client matters.
\nThe Role
\nYou will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload, including:

- Drafting Wills and providing estate planning advice. \n
- Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney. \n
- Managing probate matters and estate administration from initial instruction through to final distribution. \n
- Advising clients in relation to trust administration. \n
- Assisting with tax planning and wealth preservation matters. \n
- Handling Court of Protection work. \n
- Advising a broad client base, including families, elderly clients and high-net-worth individuals. \n
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, professional contacts and third parties. \n
- Drafting legal documentation and correspondence accurately and efficiently. \n
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal procedures. \n
- Meeting billing, time recording and performance objectives. \n
- Supporting colleagues and contributing positively to the continued success of the department. \n
- Assisting with business development initiatives and helping to strengthen existing client relationships. \n
About You
\n- \n
- Qualified (PQE) Solicitor with experience specialising in Private Client matters. \n
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of private client work, including Wills, probate, estate administration, LPAs, trusts and Court of Protection matters. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and empathetic approach to client care. \n
- Ability to manage an independent caseload effectively and prioritise competing demands. \n
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. \n
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of the importance of building and maintaining client relationships. \n
- STEP qualification, or working towards STEP accreditation, would be advantageous but is not essential. \n
- A collaborative team player who values professionalism and high standards of service delivery. \n
