Here at Halton Housing, we are looking for an experiencedHabitation Technician to work across our vibrant organisation.

\n

\n

Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

\n

\n

Duration: Permanent

\n

\n

WhatYoullDo:

\n

Carry out repairs safely and to a high standard across your core trade andadditionaltrades, particularly painting and plastering

\n

Manage your van,toolsand materials to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and right first time

\n

Meet productivity and performance targets,monitoringyour own results and customer satisfaction

\n

Identifyand report issues in customers homes, including safeguarding and compliance concerns

\n

Deliver multi-trade repairs in both occupied and empty properties

\n

Provide a professional, customer-focused service when working with residents and third parties

\n

Use systems and technology provided to manage work effectively (training provided)

\n

Work flexibly, including participation in agreed rotas to meet customer needs

\n

\n

WhatYoullNeed:

\n

Experience across multiple trades, particularly painting and plastering, withadditionalskills desirable (e.g. plumbing, joinery,brickworkor flooring)

\n

NVQ (or equivalent) in a core trade with a solid understanding of related trades

\n

Strong communicationand customer service skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations

\n

Ability to follow processes, problem-solve andidentifywhen to escalate issues

\n

Good understanding of health and safety practices

\n

Basic IT skills (including Teams) or willingness to learn

\n

\n
