We are currently recruiting for aMaintenance Engineerto join a leading renewable energy company, supporting operations on a large industrial site near Needham Market.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, operation and performance of industrial plant systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as aMaintenance Engineeron industrial boiler systems
\n
• Maintain and repair mechanical components including pumps, valves, pipework, steam and hydraulic systems
\n
• Monitor plant performance and input operational data into control systems
\n
• Respond to breakdowns and participate in an on-call rota
\n
• Support fuel handling and site operations
\n
• Ensure all maintenance, inspection and compliance records are accurately completed
\n

Requirements

\n
• QualifiedMaintenance Engineer(NVQ Level 3 / C&G / HNC or equivalent)
\n
• Background in industrial environments such as manufacturing, energy, facilities, or process plant
\n
• Experience working on plant/site maintenance
\n
• Willingness to work on-call as part of a rota
\n

Package & Benefits

• Up to £46,000
\n
• On-call allowance: £165 per week (approx. £2,800 annually)
\n
• Overtime rates:\n
  \n
  • 1.5x (Saturday)
  \n
  • 2x (Sunday)
  \n
\n
• Minimum 4 hours paid per call-out
\n

Working Pattern

\n
• Week 1: MondaySunday (on-call week)
\n
• Week 2: WednesdayFriday
\n
• Week 3: MondayFriday
\n
