\nWe're partnering with a highly respected, nationally recognised accountancy and advisory firm to appoint an Audit Assistant Manager into their growing North West audit team. \n\nAudit Assistant Manager Responsibilities\n

- Managing a varied portfolio of audit assignments from planning through to completion \n
- Leading fieldwork and overseeing audit delivery to ensure quality and deadlines are met \n
- Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process \n
- Reviewing audit work completed by junior team members and providing coaching and development support \n
- Supporting Managers and Partners on larger and more complex assignments \n
- Assessing risk areas, reviewing systems and controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and audit standards \n
- Contributing to the continued development of junior talent within the team \n
- Supporting wider business development and relationship-building initiatives where appropriate \n
\nAudit Assistant Manager Attributes\n
\n
- \n
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or overseas equivalent) \n
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice audit environment \n
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards including UK GAAP and IFRS \n
- Experience supervising, mentoring or reviewing the work of junior team members \n
- A confident communicator who enjoys building strong client relationships \n
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities effectively \n
