ELP - Machine Operative (A)

Blue Arrow is recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a successful food production business based in East Lothian.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced operator looking to join a fast-paced and supportive production environment with opportunities for development and progression.

The Role

You will play a key role in operating machinery used throughout the production process, helping to maintain high standards of quality, efficiency and safety while supporting the wider production team.

Key Duties

• Operate and set up production machinery
\n
• Monitor equipment performance and production output
\n
• Complete routine machinery checks and report any faults
\n
• Carry out quality inspections on products
\n
• Ensure compliance with traceability procedures
\n
• Support efficient production workflows and targets
\n
• Maintain excellent health, safety and hygiene standards
\n
• Keep production areas clean and organised
\n

About You

\n
• Experience working as a Machine Operator, Production Operator or within a similar manufacturing environment
\n
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
\n
• Good communication skills
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Reliable, motivated and safety conscious
\n
• Access to transport due to the site's location
\n
